Why does Invoicely exist?

In hospitality, events, and catering, invoices are not simple. A single supplier delivery can produce a 20-page PDF with 500+ line items — every product, every unit price, every category. Finance teams type these by hand, line by line, into spreadsheets or accounting systems. It takes hours. Errors slip through. And by the time the data is entered, the month is already over.

How did Invoicely start?

Invoicely was founded in 2025 by Rachid Damergi, founder of ByteClick, an AI and technology agency based in Cologne, Germany.

The idea came from a clear pattern: multiple ByteClick clients in the hospitality industry were drowning in the same problem — manual invoice data entry. Hotels, event venues, and catering companies were spending entire days typing supplier invoices into spreadsheets. The tools on the market were either too generic (built for simple one-page invoices) or too expensive and complex for mid-sized operations.

Rachid built Invoicely to solve this specific problem: take the most complex invoices in the industry — multi-page, multi-category, hundreds of line items — and extract every single data point automatically with AI. No typing. No errors. No waiting until month-end to know your numbers.
